Fancy a Spicy Slice of GF Ginger Cake?

There’s nothing better than a slice of freshly baked ginger cake and a hot drink on a cold winter’s day.

Add a plus with berries or a tablespoon of plum jam along with plain yoghurt or whipped cream.

As the cake ages, toast slices of it under the grill before garnishing and serving – that is, if there is any left over!

The addition of custard and cream also turns it into a formidable wintertime dessert.
