Introducing "The Blonde"

Introducing “The Blonde”

Hi! It’s Little Truff here.

There are suggestions of spring everywhere even though its early August. A burst of flowers is a sure sign its on its way.

Gran’s pots of Cinnamon Cindy camellias are a great sign of this out on the deck. They have a mass of small, rose-blushed blooms perfumed with the deep fragrance of cinnamon. This is most unexpected as camellias don’t usually have a distinct scent. Most people love their strongly coloured blooms for brightening up their late winter gardens.

I wasn’t the only one on the deck. A new family had moved in across the road. As well as three kids, they had a fluffy white cat.

It’s early days yet and as I don’t know her name, I’ll call her “The Blonde”. She’s very pretty – but took one look at me and vanished!
